The Allerair Airmedic Plus air purifier combines a cylindrical shape with 360° air intake to remove chemicals, particles, gases and odors on the very first pass. This means a consistent and fast flow of clean, pure, breathable air.
the AirMedic+ redesigned internal structure drastically increases the particle filtration effectiveness of the air purifier. Using a specially sealed European motorized impeller, the AirMedic+ is the ultimate particle filtration device. This unit also employs a variable speed motor to allow the owner to have complete control of his or her indoor environment.

- Larger carbon filter for heavy chemical, gas and odor control. The standard 20 lb carbon filter is 2.0 inchs thick. The D 25 lb carbon filter is 3.0 inches thick. A Micro-HEPA filter will replace the full sized HEPA filter to accomodate the larger carbon filter.
Deeper carbon filters increase "Dwell Time", the length of time chemicals, gases and odors are in contact with the adsorbing carbon surface. Deeper carbon filters are more effective in adsorbing chemical, gas and odor molecules.

This means that larger, deeper bed carbon filters will adsorb more airborne pollutants. When used in combination, activated carbon filters and HEPA filters (high efficiency particle filters), offer the most comprehensive air purification available to treat airborne particles, chemicals, gases and odor.
